01. DESIGN MANAGER (FOR STAR PLANNER)
Star Planner is a new concept Interior Design and contracting company just founded in Dec 2019, focusing on helping clients customize and personalise their homes. It is a partnership between veteran furniture player Star International (operator of Star Living) & SPHOMES.

Star Planner uses SPHOMES pioneering software solution supported with Industry 4.0 manufacturing technology, being the first-of-its-kind Interior Design solution in Singapore, will revolutionise the local Interior Design industry.

We are looking to hire a Design Manager. We welcome applicants with experience in this field and a positive work attitude. The remuneration package for each successful applicant will vary based on his/her experience. Remuneration package is a combination of fixed and/ or variable components.

Applicants must have experience in using at least one interior design software during their pursuit of academic qualification and/or work experience. They must be customer centric, have good communication and leadership skills, disciplined in follow through tasks at hand.

3 weeks of training at the start and regular on the job training and coaching will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Delegating responsibilities and supervising showroom operations
  • Training, motivating and coaching employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities
  • Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees
  • Establishing and achieving business and profit objectives
  • Generating reports and presenting information to upper-level management
  • Ensuring staff members follow company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Design or related field (with other specialization but with keen interest and aptitude in designing are welcomed to apply)
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Adequate computer literacy
  • Detailed and meticulous
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong understanding of business management and leadership principles

03. SHOWROOM SALES PERSONNEL

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional service to walk-in customers
  • Promote the company’s products through excellent customer service
  • Ensure showroom merchandise displays are well maintained
  •  

Requirements:

  • Preferably with furniture retail sales experience
  • Must be bilingual in “English and Mandarin” in order to communicate with the English and Mandarin speaking customers
  • Positive attitude, a strong sense of responsibility and good team player
  • Result-oriented, independent and experience in customer service and sales
  • Self-motivated and good communication skill
  • Basic salary commensurate with experience
  • Attractive commission and special incentive

04. DELIVERY DRIVER

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of furniture include driving of the truck
  • Loading/ unloading of goods to truck
  • Ensure goods are delivered to customers’ place in order and timely
  • Supervise and lead the delivery assistants to handle goods in care
  •  

Requirements:

  • Mature and able to work independently
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience is preferable
  • Physically fit
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong sense of responsibility and good team player
  • Basic salary include overtime allowance
  • Able to start work within short notice
  • Singaporean/ Malaysian are welcome

  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience is preferable
  • New entry is welcome
  • Physically fit
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong sense of responsibility and good team player

  • Unload goods from the container
  • Load goods in FILO sequence at the warehouse

  • SPM / N level / O Level / ITE qualification
  • Knowledge on warehousing experience is an added advantage
  • Possess forklift license
  • Mature and able to work independently
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience is preferable
  • Physically fit
